Fresh report credits
Your plan sets what you can reach. Credits let you sample beyond it without changing your subscription.
Cached, archived, previous and sample reports cost 0 credits.
How credits work
Actions, not statusYour subscription defines your standing access. Credits buy one-off actions and tier-adjacent products. They never upgrade your plan, and individual credits cannot unlock professional products.
A fresh report costs 1 credit
One accepted generation, one credit. Cached reports never cost credits.
Your plan's layers are free
Every layer included in your plan can go into that report at no extra credit cost. Most people include all of them.
Adjacent products cost +1 each
Add an eligible one-off product from the tier above for one extra credit, shown before you generate.
Credits buy actions, not access
No credit grants permanent tier privileges, commercial rights, team seats or workspace access.
Individual credits stay individual
Individual-plan credits cannot unlock Professional-family products. The families do not cross.
Credits expire, plans reset
Purchased credits expire after 90 days. Included monthly credits reset each month and do not roll over.
On-demand credits
For occasional useReader and every plan can top up with on-demand credits. These are priced at a premium to bundled plan capacity, so occasional use is cheaper than upgrading, but regular use is better value on a higher plan.
Packs stop at 10 credits on purpose. If you regularly need more than a handful of fresh reports a month, Core or Core+ is the better value, and the app will say so.
Prices shown are indicative and pre-launch, in USD, and may change before general availability.
Questions
Can Reader generate reports?
Not as part of the plan. Reader includes cached reports and the archive. To generate a fresh report on Reader, you buy on-demand credits. If you find yourself doing that regularly, Core includes monthly generation at better value.
Can I use credits to reach a higher plan's features?
You can buy eligible one-off products from the tier directly above yours, for one extra credit each. That is sampling, not upgrading. It does not give you standing access, and it will not carry an Individual plan into the Professional family. Some capabilities stay plan-only whatever your credit balance: commercial use, team seats, creator-public rights, Analyst workspace and API access.
Do credits expire?
Purchased credits expire 90 days after purchase. Included monthly credits reset at the start of each cycle and do not roll over. Consumption runs included credits first, then purchased credits expiring soonest.
